Kathy Y. Morris is the passionate and inspiring founder of Financially Armed LLC, with over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. As an Accredited Financial Counselor (AFC®️) and a Certified Credit Union Financial Counselor, Kathy has dedicated her career to helping individuals and organizations achieve financial health through education and coaching. Her journey into financial literacy advocacy began with her own struggles, transforming personal challenges into a mission to empower others. 

A proud Baltimore native, Kathy pairs her financial expertise with a knack for connecting with people through sincerity and humor. She brings a relatable approach to finance, often sharing her life experiences to make the learning process enjoyable and impactful. Along with coaching and counseling, Kathy has created the interactive budgeting game MEAN$, designed to teach teens and young adults practical money management skills. 

Outside of her professional life, Kathy cherishes her time with her husband, Rev. Jerome Morris, , their three adult children, and their grandchild, all living financially healthy lives. While their four-legged son Maximus rules the house, Kathy and Jerome ablige his point of view while providing limitless treats and unconditional love.
